SOLAR ENERGY
The energy emitted by the sun reaches Earth in the form of electromagnetic waves similar to radio waves but with a different range of frequencies. Some of this energy is absorbed as radiation passes through Earth's atmosphere. The amount of energy that carry the sun is quite considerable and may reach the order of 1000 W / m². This solar energy, which is free and renewable, can easily become a source of domestic heating or electricity production.
ADVANTAGES:
* Solar energy emits no pollution. Choosing solar energy contributes to preserve the planet.
* Solar energy is free: the only costs are the initial installation and subsequent maintenance.
* The new generation of solar systems allow optimal use of energy solar, so that can be used in regions where it does
too much sun.
* Solar installations can be combined with a traditional heating system.
* It is a good source of energy for the house and energy certification of the same.
WEAKNESSES
* The amount of energy that can be generated depends on the weather conditions: when solar energy is not enough you must use an auxiliary system.
