BIOMASS
The term biomass or solid fuels include calls from traditional sources such as wood and coal, but wood pellets. The wood pellets are a source of new generation fuel made from wood chips, sawdust or energy crops, tablets produce a homogeneous and compact.
STRENGTHS
* The solid fuel is a good level of power, producing a gentle heat and most frequently used
domestic installations.
* The wood boilers and wood pellets can be combined.
* The wood logs are one of the cheapest forms of fuel.
* The wood fuel is a source of 100% natural.
* Wood pellets have a constant level of moisture and quality, so that combustion is a material easy to use.
* Wood pellets can be supplied with a tanker truck and stored in a tank within the house, depending on
their size, fuel may contain up to a year's supply.
* The boiler is automatically fed wood pellet using a screw so installed between the storage tank and
boiler.
* It is a good source of energy for housing and energy certification of the same.
WEAKNESSES
* For wood and coal must be available storage space.
* Coal is a fossil fuel: combustion by-products, especially
sulfur, are a source of contamination. Reduce coal mining underground reserves, which are limited.
